If you have read The Night Circus, you might know how Erin writes. There’s mystery, suspense, spookiness in this book.
The beginning of the story was quite confusing for me. I thought of giving up on this book because of the start! But then I saw the reviews and everyone in the beginning was confused.
The story revolves around Zachary Rawlins who came across a strange book “Sweet Sorrow” hidden in his library. The mystery of that book takes him on a quest. There’s bees, sword, and a key that plays the most important role. There’s a world underneath the world, underneath the world where this adventure happens.
“The right time will lead you to your desired door and that door will unravel your story.”
Erin Morgenstern’s ability to create divine settings you can see and smell and lust after and yearn to experience is unparalleled.
This book is mysterious, confusing, strange, amazing, spooky. There’s no ghost but there is creepiness that can give you chills.
“Books are always better when read rather than explained.” – Erin Morgenstern
