We all are going through something that was not expected. Colleges and schools are closed, everyone is working from home, most of the countries have locked down and whatnot.
Staying productive during this time is something that we all want to do but some of us are struggling to stay productive and which is why I am here to help. Continue reading this blog if you want to know how you can stay productive too.
1. Be an Early Bird
I know we all struggle to wake up early but to be productive you have to wake up early. An ideal time could be between 6 AM-8 AM. Try to wake up between this time. If you wake up early, you have a lot more time and at that time you can do a lot of work too.
2. Don’t Use Your Phone After You Wake Up
If the first thing you do after waking up is to check your phone, stop doing that now. Instead, try to cuddle with your pet, maybe read a few lines from your favourite book, write 2-3 lines about how you are feeling, etc.
Try to bring your screen time to 2-3 hours a day. Remember your phone is not going to help you in being productive, it will only help you waste your time.
I know watching videos on Tik-Tok or seeing what everyone is doing on Instagram is tempting but remember why you clicked into this blog! You wanted to be productive so say No to your phone.
3. Plan Your Day
I love planning my day just after I wake up or before I am going to bed. I have learnt that I am more productive when I plan my day in advance. I tend to complete all my To-Dos for that day which is all I want to do in this time.
Plus if you plan your day in advance, you are more organised too.
4. Do A Workout
I am not a workout person but it is something that calms me down. I am actually a Yoga person but I always wanted to try cardio, pilates. So, I thought to give it a try and now it is my necessity. I do Yoga too but less often than before.
I try doing abs and thighs exercise and when I feel too sore, I would switch to Yoga.
5. Play Indoor Games
I love playing a lot. Our house has a big backyard which is our new playground nowadays. I usually play badminton, tennis and basketball over there with my brother and it basically keeps us both engaged.
6. Play With Your Pet
I play with Scooby in the backyard. He is a super active kid and has a lot of energy. To play with him requires me to match his energy which is an amazing workout too.
If you have a pet too, play with them. It will help you stay active and will pass your time too, plus your fluffy pal will enjoy too.
You actually need to study/work in order to actually be productive. I am a blogger and a student too which means I have to plan my blog and plan my online classes at the same time.

8. Be Updated About What Is Going Around You
Just because your schools/colleges/offices are closed and you all are working from home doesn’t mean you should not stay updated.
You should actually know about what is happening in your country, state, neighbourhood and the world too.
9. Wash Your Hands Frequently
Do wash your hands more frequently. We all can together fight with this Coronavirus.
10. Meal Plan
I am a foodie and my mom is an amazing cook. I am having my garlic bread while writing this blog too. If you don’t live with your parents or you are alternating your cooking days, a meal plan is way too important.

11. Take Aromatic Baths
I am a little bit more anxious currently which is why I love taking aromatic baths.
If you don’t have aromatic oils/soaps, the easiest way is to spray lavender mist (or any other) into your shower and TA-DA your aromatic bath is ready.
12. Stop Using Your Phone When You’re About To Sleep
It is a proven fact using the phone before you sleep, you are not actually getting a healthy sleep so put that phone away before you sleep.
Meditation is the key to keep that anxiety and depression away. The whole world is actually going through a lot and in times like this, you should actually keep yourself and your loved ones calm.
Do meditate and pray daily, it will help you a lot.
14. Sleep Early
If you want to get up early in order to be productive, then sleep early.
